The Hauenstein Group on Lake Thun has been in existence since 1954 and is now run by the 3rd generation of the Hauenstein family. It was once founded by Walter Hauenstein and is still a 100% family business today. Today, as in the past, the Group is committed to the Lake Thun region and actively shapes the region through its "Real Estate", "Hotel & Gastronomy", "Healthcare" and "Coaching" divisions.

The Hauenstein Group will remain a fully family-operated business. Established in 1954, the company has consistently expanded. This development will continue, but always with consideration for the employees and the environment. The Hauenstein family has a longstanding and ongoing commitment to the Lake Thun region.
